Gander Adds Another Mountain
Lake Mary Store to Celebrate Grand Opening

Extreme bow-hunter Ray Howell will shoot an arrow through a ½ inch ribbon from about 30 yards to kick off the Grand Opening Celebration.  And once that ribbon falls, Gander’s staff will blow a chorus of goose calls.  Howell’s youth program, Kicking Bear, exposes underprivileged youth to archery and the outdoors.

Other notable personalities attending the celebration Friday the 6th through Sunday the 8th include Blair Wiggins, Mark Nichols, and Peter Thliveros.  Wiggins is the TV host of Addictive Fishing and is an Elite Gander Mountain Pro Staff Member, Nichols is the owner and inventor of D.O.A. Lures and Thliveros is a 2-time Gold Medal Winner at the ESPN Outdoor Games and a former FLW Angler of the Year.

Customers who visit the store during the Grand Opening celebration are invited to register to win a trip for two to the Crocodile Bay fishing resort in Costa Rica – valued at over $10,000.  Also, Florida Fishing Weekly will be giving away free trial subscriptions to the first 2,000 people who chose to sign up, starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 6th.

The Grand Opening Celebration promises fun for the entire family.  With a 33-foot giant bass slide for the kids to slide down, an inflatable cabin for younger children to play in, and the opportunity for kids to build a duck call with the pro’s from Primos, there will be something for everyone at Gander Mountain on Grand Opening weekend.  Giveaways include:
