Gander Mountain Company Announces Exclusive Partnership With Crystal-Pierz Marine

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 7, 2006 — Gander Mountain Company (Nasdaq: GMTN), the nation’s largest retail network of outdoor lifestyle stores, and Crystal-Pierz Marine today announced a partnership in which Crystal-Pierz Marine, the largest volume dealer of Glastron®, Crestliner®, Lund and Bennington boats in the world, will provide its expertise in retail boat sales to Gander Mountain. Crystal-Pierz Marine consultants will train sales associates in Gander Mountain’s stores in Forest Lake, Minn., and Baxter, Minn., as well as provide support for customer financing and back office functions. In addition to the Stratos® boat line that Gander Mountain currently sells, the partnership will include Glastron® and other Genmar brands. Customers in those stores will have access to Crystal-Pierz Marine’s inventory of over 1,200 boats, giving them much more choice as they shop for boats. Gander Mountain will continue to offer Yamaha’s G3 line of boats as well as kayaks and canoes.
