Gander Mountain Wins Arctic Cat Top Dealer Awards
ST. PAUL, MN, August 27, 2007 — Gander Mountain, the nation's largest retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, camping, boats, marine, and outdoor lifestyle products and services celebrates the Grand Opening of its 115th store at 725 Bluegrass Farms Boulevard on October 19th. The store is the second in Kentucky; it joins Gander Mountain’s successful Paducah store that opened in 2004.
The 65,000 square foot Bowling Green store features innovative outdoor products including: firearms, equipment for hunting, fishing, and archery, a variety of apparel and footwear, camping equipment, and gifts. Fishing and power boats, ATVs, canoes, and kayaks will be displayed inside and outside of the store. The store offers a full range of services including: an on-site gunsmith, ATV service and repair, an archery lane and full-service archery shop, line winding, boat and motor service, and a staff of associates with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products they provide.

The grand opening ceremonies will begin on Friday, October 19th at 8:00 A.M., when world-class archer and Gander Mountain Elite Pro-Staff member, Ray Howell, cuts the ceremonial ribbon with an arrow shot from 30 yards.
To celebrate the opening of the new store, Gander Mountain will be holding a free John Michael Montgomery concert on Saturday, October 20th. Members of Gander Mountain’s Pro-Staff will be on hand during the grand opening to share their outdoor expertise and experiences. Orange County Choppers will unveil its newest custom creation, an exclusive Gander Mountain motorcycle. Members of the Teutul family, stars of the popular TLC television show, American Chopper, will help in the presentation.
Several special grand opening events will be held in the Gander Mountain Lodge, a meeting room provided free of charge for meetings of local outdoor groups. During the year Gander Mountain provides educational courses for outdoor enthusiasts in the Lodge and it offers more hunter safety programs through its Lodges than any other source in the United States.
